Description
The Semon's Leaf-nosed Bat is a small, rare bat that is relatively unknown. They mainly inhabit rainforests in north-eastern Australia and their flight is typically slow and usually within 2 metres of the ground. They are insectivorous with moths being their main diet.
Threats
The threats to the Semon's Leaf-nosed Bat are not known but are thought to be disturbance, or destruction, to their roost sites and habitat loss and fragmentation.
