Quollity Conservation Hub was born from a deep love for wildlife and the places they call home.

My hope for this website is to create a deeper appreciation for the animals we share our world with.

My goal is to deepen your understanding of the issues our environment is facing and the pressures our wildlife is under, inspiring you to want to make a difference and join the effort to protect them.

This hub is designed to be a starting point. Our interactive map will show you which threatened species live nearby and from there, you can explore their stories and find links to dedicated wildlife groups, government agencies, and Indigenous groups who are all working hard to protect them.

As you explore, you'll see that my commitment to animal welfare is guided by an ethical principle known as the 3Rs:

  • Replacement: Finding new ways to learn about wildlife without disturbing them.

  • Reduction: Minimizing our impact whenever we need to step in to help.

  • Refinement: Constantly improving methods to ensure animals are treated with the utmost care.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Together, we can create a future where our wildlife not only survives, but thrives.

There's nothing to laugh about

"As we were on the way back home we spotted the kookaburra sitting in the tree laughing. I decided to take a photograph. The bird let me walk right up to it, snapping away on my iPhone. It was looking at me as if to say: “There’s nothing you can do that is any worse than what sits in front of us.’ We both watched the sun setting over the apocalyptic landscape."
