Description

The Parma wallaby is a small wallaby with the species� fur is a uniform greyish brown on its back and shoulders, with a dark stripe along its spine ending mid-back. It has a white stripe on the cheek and upper lip and a white throat and chest. The optimum habitat for the Parma wallaby is wet sclerophyll forest with a thick, shrubby understorey and nearby grassy patches.

Threats

The Parma wallaby is threatened by inappropriate fire regimes, land clearing, predation by invasive species, habitat degradation and competition due to feral herbivores, weed invasion, climate change and vehicle strike.
