Description

Gilbert's Potoroo is a small nocturnal marsupial, with a densely furred body which lives in small groups or colonies. The diet consists almost entirely of fungi.

Threats

The known threats to the Gilbert's Potoroo are highly vulnerable to wildfire, predation by feral cats and foxes as well as low genetic variability.
